Refund policy
General Policy on the Downpayment (Reservation Fee)
We have a policy of no refunds for the Downpayment or the Reservation Fee.
Cancellation
By cancelling a booking, you forfeit your Downpayment. Unless you are certain that you will not be travelling with us at any time in the future, we therefore recommend that you first check if you are eligible for Rescheduling, Rebooking, Transferring, or Holding.
Rescheduling
Rescheduling is the process of making changes to the date/s of a booked tour.
Joiner guests may reschedule a booking up to 7 days before departure. A later request is processed as a cancellation and the Downpayment is forfeited. Exclusive guests may reschedule a booking up to 24 hours before departure and may still retain 100% of their Downpayment, provided that we have not or have not yet incurred nonrefundable costs towards the fulfillment of the scheduled tour. Otherwise, the reschedule request is placed on hold until any such costs are repaid to us by you.
Rebooking
Rebooking is the process of moving a reservation from one tour product to another.
Joiner guests may rebook up to 7 days before departure. A later request is processed as a cancellation and the Downpayment is forfeited. Exclusive guests may rebook up to 24 hours before departure and may still retain 100% of their Downpayment, provided that we have not or have not yet incurred nonrefundable costs towards the fulfillment of the scheduled tour. Otherwise, the rebooking request is placed on hold until any such costs are repaid to us by you.
Any difference between the Downpayment rates must be paid by you before your rebooking is confirmed. Otherwise, if moving to a tour of a lower Downpayment rate, the difference is credited to your remaining balance.
For fully paid bookings, the same principles apply. Any net credit in your favor will be refunded by us.
Transfer
You may transfer your reservation, and all its associated payments, to another person up to the time of departure. We may ask both of you to verify your identity for security reasons, among others.
Holding
You may take out your reservation, and all its associated payments, from a tour and/or a schedule and put it aside as a credit that you can use anytime in the future on any tour and/or schedule. The principles of Rescheduling pertaining to timing and cost apply. Unused credits are forfeited after a year.
No-Show
No shows are automatically processed as cancellations.
Limits to Modifications
You may request to Reschedule and/or a Rebook a reservation up a maximum of 5 times. Past this, your request is processed as a cancellation.
Refunds
We will send out your refund through a payment channel agreed to by both our parties. The refund amount you will receive will be the agreed refund amount minus any processing fees that were incurred by us due to your original payment method and any fees that will be incurred by us when we send out your refund. You will be refunded within 10 business days. Please remember that it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and actually post the refund.
